Caleb Williams has revealed that Aaron Rodgers is his favorite NFL player of all-time, while naming Tom Brady as his second-favorite in a new video.
Williams, the presumptive No. 1 pick in next month’s NFL Draft, attended the NFL Combine last week along with other prospects.
And speaking to the NFL’s official X account from Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium – where the Combine is held – Williams revealed that the Jets’ Rodgers is the player whom he models his game after the most.
The former Green Bay passer missed essentially the entire 2023 season after tearing his Achilles just minutes into his Jets debut in Week 1.
Williams, a former star quarterback at USC, has been given the third-highest draft grade by NFL.com – behind only receivers Malik Nabers and Marvin Harrison Jr. from LSU and Ohio State respectively.

Williams is graded as a ‘year 1 starter’ on the site.
For the 22-year-old, it’s more a question of where he will play than at what spot he’ll be drafted at.
The Bears own the No. 1 pick but also have quarterback Justin Fields on the roster, whom they selected with the 11th overall pick just three years ago. Therefore, they could decide to trade back.
According to CBS Sports, Williams met with the Commanders, Raiders, Vikings, Falcons, Patriots, Jets and Giants last week – in addition to the Bears.
As first reported by the outlet, he decided to decline the typical medical exams given to participants at the NFL combine, and also ‘did not sign off’ on sharing his medical records with all 32 teams.
He’s believed to be the first person to decline the physical exam at the combine.
Williams had previously also declined to take part in the on-field workouts associated with the combine, but will work out for teams at USC’s pro day on March 20.
