Eilish, who for yearsย almost exclusively wore baggy clothesย that concealed her figure, told the outlet that sheโs struggled with her looks and identity because sheโs โnever felt desired or desirable.โ
โIโve never felt like a woman, to be honest with you. Iโve never felt desirable. Iโve never felt feminine,” revealed Eilish. “I have to convince myself that Iโm, like, a pretty girl.โ

The โBad Guyโ singer clarified her preferred pronouns, adding, โI identify as โshe/herโ and things like that, but Iโve never really felt like a girl.โ
The Grammy winner explained that because she has long had complicated feelings about her own womanhood, itโs led her to feel as if other women donโt like her. โIโve never really felt like I could relate to girls very well,โ she shared.
Although Eilish wrestles with that assumption, she admitted that sheโs โattracted toโ other women. โI love [women] so much. I love them as people. Iโm attracted to them as people. Iโm attracted to them for real,” she said.
โI have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life,โ the singer-songwriter continued. โIโm physically attracted to them. But Iโm also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.โ
