Mr. Jeff Bezos, once the richest billionaire in the world and currently ranked 3rd globally, is the owner of one of the most expensive superyachts called Koru. This super yacht was completed not long ago and has just completed its journey from the Mediterranean to Florida, USA.
However, Koru’s oversized size makes this superyacht unable to find a place to park.

According to Luxury Launches, a newspaper specializing in luxury news, Mr. Jeff Bezos’s largest sailing yacht in the world was refused entry to Port Everglades. The reason is that this port only supports parking of boats with a length of less than 400 feet (121 meters).
Koru has a length of 126.8 meters and other dimensions are also too large to dock at the above port. As a result, Mr. Jeff Bezos’ super yacht had to “park” next to two 180-meter long oil tankers nearby.

To give an idea of how large Koru is, the length of this yacht is almost twice that of an Airbus A380 aircraft. The sails of this yacht, when spread as wide as possible, push the total size of the boat to nearly half the Giza pyramid.
With such a huge size, Koru requires a huge amount of human and material resources to serve. This super yacht costs about 137,000 USD (3.32 billion VND) in daily maintenance fees. However, with Mr. Jeff Bezos’s $169 billion fortune, this super yacht will run for another 3,300 years without running out of money.
