Football pundit Richard Keys mocked Chelsea for their celebration after a 3-2 victory in the Premier League against Brighton.
Chelsea defeated Brighton at Stamford Bridge with goals from Enzo Fernandez, who scored a brace, and Levi Colwill. Conor Gallagher was sent off during the clash as Mauricio Pochettino’s team secured all three points against the visitors.
However, Keys was not pleased with the way The Blues celebrated after the match.
The commentator on Bein Sports said: “I hesitate to recall my comments on Arsenal defeating Fulham last year, but this was just Brighton. It looked like a Champions League celebration and was very enthusiastic.”
For Chelsea, every win is crucial now after a series of early-season setbacks. While they have made progress recently, they have struggled to maintain consistency. Currently, they are in 10th place, trailing the top 4 by 10 points.
Next up, The Blues will face a crucial battle against Manchester United, an opportune time to take on the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag’s team recently suffered a defeat at the hands of Newcastle
