The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick Comforts Lily Over Romantic Woes – New Couple on the Horizon?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will deal with some tough insecurities. Although Lily has tried to act nonchalant about Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) return to town and what it means for her relationship with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), it’ll get harder to deny that it’s affecting things.

Of course, a lot of that has to do with Daniel and his response to Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) subtle matchmaking efforts.

Daniel had an overreaction to Phyllis’ behavior at his housewarming get-together, so that gave Lily a reason to worry.

However, Lily has perhaps been in denial about how much Heather and Daniel’s lingering connection bothers her.

Although Lily obviously supports the idea of Daniel amicably co-parenting Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) with Heather, she seems to feel like she’s outside the family unit.

Now that Heather is back in Genoa City for good, the situation’s only going to get more uncomfortable.

It looks like Lily may spy a close moment between Daniel and Heather that troubles her soon enough.

Could that be why Y&R spoilers say Lily will lean on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) during the week of December 4-8?

Perhaps Nick will spot Lily looking pensive as she downs a drink at the bar.

It’d be easy for Nick to mosey over and push Lily to open up about what’s on her mind.

Naturally, Lily might have some other issues she’s worried about as well – like whether to rehire Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and all the drama related to Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) threat to Chancellor-Winters.

That said, Lily’s relationship with Daniel will probably be at the top of the list when it comes to what’s bothering her.

Nick will get updates on how Lily’s feeling, so she may admit she’s worried about Daniel reuniting with his former flame.

Since Nick knows a thing or two about dating someone who feels a lingering ex connection, he may offer advice that’s hard to hear.

Nick felt like he had to walk away from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) since she just couldn’t get over her link to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Will Nick steer Lily in the direction of dumping Daniel or at least taking a break? Lily might be tempted to take some time on her own so she can do some soul-searching.

Whatever the case, it’s interesting that Nick will be comforting Lily and giving her guidance. It could be a hint about Nick and Lily’s potential as a couple down the road.

Although Christel Khalil will be going on maternity leave in the not-too-distant future, there might be a chance for Lily and Nick to get together once Khalil returns.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will offer some romantic news to Nick and seek his opinion in the meantime, so stay tuned.
