Portia Gives Trina Reason To Question Whether Spencer’s Commitment Is To Ace — Or Esme

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is happy to have spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

They said their kind words, made up, and topped it off with a roll in the hay before heading to her parent’s place for dinner. It didn’t even dawn on Trina that her mother seemed disappointed to see Spencer in tow.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will have no problem sewing seeds of doubt if she thinks Spencer has managed to weasel his way back into Trina’s good graces. Just like that, Trina may start to question Spencer’s intentions again — and for good reason, if Portia has anything to say about it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Plays The Perfect Boyfriend

Spencer pulled out all the stops for the holiday, on the heels of having sent Trina every flower in the state to make amends for his harsh words.

Getting the cold shoulder from her appeared to have taught him a valuable lesson, but should she really be counting her chickens before they hatch?

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) still holds all the cards, and Spencer is far from thrilled with the idea of her moving out.

He may have smoothed things over with Trina, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to get his way with Esme, too.

GH Spoilers – Hint Portia Robinson Still Has Tricks Up Her Sleeve

Spencer isn’t actually ready to give up the control of and access to his baby brother that he currently has — and Portia will be quick to recognize that.

So when she gets a chance to interact with Esme again, she just might hint that it would be in Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) best interest for her to come clean with Spencer and tell him how she feels. After all, if Spencer returns her feelings, they could become a real family for Ace.

Of course, the benefit in Portia’s mind will be that Spencer will see Esme’s affection for him as a means to keeping her around — as long as he butters her up the right way.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Robinson Gets Whiplash

Certain that she could trust the words coming out of her very own boyfriend’s mouth, Trina saw no reason to table her excitement.

She fell back into bed with Spencer as soon as he told her how right she was and that he wasn’t willing to lose her to keep Esme and Ace in his daily orbit.

When Portia’s plan plays out perfectly and leaves Spencer scrambling for space in his baby brother’s life and using Esme’s crush on him to get closer to her, it’s going to make Trina do a double take.

He just promised he was going to let them go, and now he’s going to cling to them more than ever.

Of course, he can’t very well tell his girlfriend he’s flirting with — and playing — his ex either. It’s about to get interesting in Port Charles.
