The Young and the Restless Preview: Week of December 4 – Nikki Sneaks a Drink – Brainwashed Claire Gains a Defender

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of December 4-8 reveals that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will pounce on an opportunity. Since Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is dealing with major family drama at Jabot right now, Jill will hope he might be willing to step down and come work with her at Chancellor-Winters.

Although Jill will make a strong pitch, Billy may not like the idea of walking away and giving Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) exactly what he wants.

Even so, Jill will at least make the offer and will perhaps leave the door open for Billy to change his mind. There’s a chance Billy will make some updates to his perspective, so she’ll hope for good news eventually.

At the Newman ranch, it looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will continue to believe Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is evil like her aunt.

Jordan (Colleen Zenk) manipulated Claire into that horrible scheme, but Victor may not think Claire should be shown any mercy.

However, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will defend brainwashed Claire and argue that he doesn’t believe this was a con on Claire’s part.

It’s clear that Claire did all this because she was fully convinced Cole and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) were her parents.

“But it’s just – it’s not possible…is it?” Victoria asks Cole in Y&R’s weekly preview video.

Of course, stranger things have happened in Genoa City, so Victoria really needs to consider the idea that Jordan genuinely switched babies like she said she did.

Jordan is certainly twisted enough to do it, so Victoria may have to admit that.

At some point, a DNA test will have to be done if Victoria, Cole and Claire want to confirm the truth. All signs point to Claire being Cole and Victoria’s biological daughter, so more complications are brewing.

As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll sneak a drink during a moment alone at the ranch.

Nikki can be seen pouring herself some vodka in the preview clip, but will she be tempted enough to guzzle it?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will have a hard time staying sober now that Jordan and Claire have broken her resolve, so don’t miss her latest battle with the bottle.
