Aaron Rodgers works phones at Jets’ box office to sell tickets

The Jets may have opened Aaron Rodgers’ 21-day practice window, but the future Hall of Famer may have found a backup plan to help his new team if he doesn’t end up playing this year — in the ticket sales department.

The Jets released a video on Thursday of Rodgers inside the team’s ticket office on the phone with a fan in an entertaining exchange.

Rodgers could be heard giving his best sales pitch to get a fan back out to MetLife Stadium after learning the luck that they’ve had for the Jets this year.

“So, you’re 1-0 going to games. Obviously, we need to find a way to get you back. How do we do that?” Rodgers said in the clip. “Do we have to offer you some free tickets, or what? I don’t know if I’m authorized to do that just yet.”

The pitch seemed to work because later on, Rodgers is seen saying that he was going to send the fan a pair of tickets and thanked them for their support.

“Thanks for sticking with us and not s–t talking us so much,” Rodgers said, eliciting laughs from the sales staffers nearby.

While the Jets QB made the day for one fan, there’s hope he could be an early Christmas present for the rest of the fan base with a return to the field sooner than expected.

During a sitdown with local media, Rodgers said on Thursday that he felt good enough to move up his planned return by one week.

Rodgers had been aiming to be ready to play in the Jets’ Christmas Eve matchup against the Washington Commanders.

The soon-to-be 40-year-old practiced for the first time on Wednesday and said “anything is possible” after not ruling out a return for the team’s Dec. 10 game against the Houston Texans or the Dec. 17 matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

Rodgers has been out since he suffered a torn Achilles on the first offensive drive of the season.
