The Cork native married Theresa Doyle back in 1997 and they have five children together; Shannon, Caragh, Aidan, Leah and Alanna.

Roy transferred to Ipswich Town in the late noughties and purchased a new home in the area before settling down near Woodbridge.

There is 1.2 acres of greenery and trees surrounding the property and even has its own swimming pool at the back of the mansion

They finally settled in their current gorgeous home after putting their former house on the market in 2015.

The 50 year old joined Instagram earlier this year in February and has shown off his beautiful property that has a large garden filled with plants, trees and arches.

There is also a full-sized pool in the backyard that can be seen from inside the pool house through glass doors and grey fabric outdoor furniture.

The reddish-orange brick house has white doors and windows and is surrounded by tall trees and hedges to ensure the family’s privacy.

The sitting room is decked out with brown leather couches, a wicker-style coffee table and a red and cream patterned rug.

Roy even invited his friend and fellow footballer Ian Wright over to enjoy the football on his flat-screen TV.
