Tyreek Hill thinks the 2023 Miami Dolphins are better than the Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl team

A bold statement from the former Kansas City Chiefs superstar who won the Super Bowl once with the team.

Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and one of the better ones the sport has seen in its recent history. His combination of speedquickness and route running makes him a nightmare for any defense.

When Hill departed the Kansas City Chiefs for South Florida, many expected the Chiefs offense to struggle. That wasn’t the case, and they won the Super Bowl in his first season away from the team.

Tyreek Hill says 2023 Dolphins are better than 2019 Chiefs

With his Miami Dolphins currently at 8-3 and the Chiefs offense struggling due to poor wide receiver play while Hill is on a historic pace, he took the chance for a slight dig at his old team.

Hill’s reasoning for this Dolphins team being better than the 2019 Chiefs team that won it all is Miami’s practice habits and willingness to “play for one another”. He says it’s something he’s never seen before.

This isn’t the first time Hill has heaped praise on his new franchise while simultaneously giving a backhanded compliment to his old one. We’ll see if Hill’s comment holds any merit, but the Dolphins have plenty to go to match the Chiefs team that won the Super Bowl.

Kansas City went 12-4 that year, winning their final 10 games, including the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs offense put up 139 total points in four games during the playoffs.

The Dolphins are having a great season, but losses to the Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills have people wondering if they can hang with the better teams come playoff time.

Most Australians probably couldn’t find Azerbaijan on a map – it’s a former Soviet republic, partly in Asia and partly in Europe – but that didn’t stop delegate Dr Clare Anderson from performing an acknowledgement of country there to a near empty-room.
