Cesc Fabregas‘ wife Daniella Semaan has emphatically denied a report in Brazil that alleged Lionel Messi has cheated on Antonela Roccuzzo.
Brazilian outlet Direto Do Miolo posted to X on Friday that Messi and Roccuzzo’s 15-year relationship was facing its ‘biggest crisis’ to date.
They alleged that the Inter Miami star had an affair with Argentine journalist Sofia Martinez and their marriage was on the verge of being over.
However, the tweet quoted sources in Spain which appear to be non-existent.
Furthermore Semaan, who regularly goes on holiday with Messi and Roccuzzo and is particularly close to the couple, insists the speculation is incorrect.

Replying to a post on Instagram, she said: ‘What publication is this that has no meaning.. and has nothing right.’
Messi and Roccuzzo have known each other since they were five. They got married in 2017 and have three sons: Thiago, Mateo and Ciro.
Reports in his native Argentina emerged last month that suggested Messi is ‘in love with a woman who is not Antonela’.
Some fans then speculated whether the woman in question was Martinez, because of an apparent ‘look’ he gave her during an interview at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
Martinez also made headlines during last year’s World Cup in Qatar, which Messi and Argentina would go on to win.
After their semi-final victory over Croatia, Martinez made a passionate speech as she interviewed Messi.
Replying to a post on Instagram, she said: ‘What publication is this that has no meaning.. and has nothing right.’

In it, she told him how grateful Argentinians were to have him representing them and it didn’t matter whether or not he won the game.
Live on air, she said: ‘The last thing I want to tell you, and is not a question, but I just wanted to say; the World Cup final is coming and sure, we all [Argentinians] want to win the Cup.
‘I just want to tell you that no matter the results, there’s something that no one can take from you and that is the fact you resonated with Argentinians, every single one. I’m being serious.
‘There’s no kid who doesn’t have your team shirt. No matter if it is a fake, real or made up one.
‘Truly, you made your mark in everyone’s life and that to me is beyond winning any World Cup.
‘No one can take that from you and this is my gratitude for such amount of happiness you bring to a lot of people.
‘I seriously hope you take these words into your heart because I really believe that’s more important than winning a World Cup and you already have it, so thank you captain.’
