On November 22 (London time), at Buckingham Palace, King Charles III awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) to all 4 members of the Kpop group Blackpink – Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé.

The British Royal Family honored Blackpink as ambassadors for COP26 – the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in the United Kingdom in 2021, and also as ambassadors for the United Kingdom. the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

King Charles III praised Blackpink’s contributions in using their reputation to convey the message of environmental sustainability, raising awareness of global citizens about responding to climate change.

But Rosé, as a Commonwealth citizen with dual citizenship in New Zealand (one of 14 countries where the British King is the head of state), she receives all the honors and privileges of the title.
