UFC 300: When is huge event set to take place, is Conor McGregor fighting and where is event being held?

THE Ultimate Fighting Championship is fast approaching yet another historic milestone – its 300th pay-per-view card.

Mixed martial arts’ elite promotion will close out 2023 with their 296th PPV offering – which will be headlined by a welterweight title fight between Brit Leon Edwards and Colby Covington – on December 16.

For the last year, each passing pay-per-view card has built fight fans’ anticipation for the organisation’s 300th numbered card.

And with 2023 fast coming to a close, MMA fans are now waiting with bated breath for the announcement of the card.

So with that in mind, SunSport thought it’d only be right to tell you what we know about when and where the card will take place.

The official date for UFC 300 has not yet been announced, although it’s expected to be revealed within the next three months.

Although an official date hasn’t been announced, the card is expected to take place in the spring.

If the UFC keeps main’s its traditional schedule of one pay-per-view event a month, the card will take place in mid-April.

But it could end up taking place a month earlier if they hold two numbered cards as they did this March.

UFC 100 and 200 were both held in the promotion’s spiritual home of Las Vegas, with the former card taking place at the Mandalay Bay Arena and the latter being held at the T-Mobile Arena.

So it’s incredibly likely that the T-Mobile Arena will be the venue for the to host the historic card.

What channel is UFC 300 on and can it be live streamed?

UFC 300 will be a pay-per-view offering on ESPN Plus in the United States.

Fight fans will have to be already a subscriber to ESPN Plus, which costs $10.99 a month, to be able to purchase the card.

The pay-per-view event itself will cost an additional $79.99.

UFC fans in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch the fight on TNT Sports.

MMA fans are all asking one major question in relation to UFC 300: who will headline the card?

The likes of Israel Adesanya and Sean O’Malley have been touted as potential headliners for the show.

But former two-division champion Conor McGregor has insisted that he will be involved in the historic card despite UFC president Dana White pouring cold water on a spring return for the Irishman.

The Notorious insists he will top the bill of the blockbuster Sin City card, telling a fan on X he’s “IN” when asked if he’ll headline the event.

Dana White has revealed the promotion are currently working on the fights for their 300th pay-per-view offering.

He said: “I think we have fights all the way made up until February 3rd or 10th, or something like that.

“And we’ve got ideas for March and April.”
