Exceptional 7-year-old African-American girl breaks record as the fastest athlete in US

An exceptional 7-year-old African-American Dakota White has broken the record as the fastest athlete in the United States.

Dakota White is an African-American girl who grew up in Texas. She set a new national record for the Junior Olympics and made history as the fastest kid athlete in the United States.

Dakota and her teammates had earlier set a new record with Xpress Track Club in Fort Worth in the girls’ 8 and under 100-meter relay at the AAU Junior Olympics. She finished her part in 59.08 seconds, setting a new national record.

She stated that she started training when she was just 3 years old with the guidance of her father Cam White, who was a former TCU wide receiver.

“She just had form, like crazy form. It wasn’t fast, but her form was already perfect. So then as she progressed, we started getting her different trainers,” Dakota’s father said.

Dakota’s father also added that she has won in all the competitions she has joined ever since she set the record. Moreover, this did not stop her from training rigorously without skipping a day even in the heat of the summer.

He added that she always makes sure to hydrate a lot and take a balanced diet. “Cut down on different snacks and foods, eating pretty healthy. As a kid, you know they like to eat a lot of junk food. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t take a lot away from her, but we limited what she could eat. She trains hard.”,” he said.
