TAYLOR Swift has revealed her rarely-seen belly button whilst soaking up the sunshine at a luxury hotel in Turks and Caicos with boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

The American singer’s navel became a meme after she refused to wear clothing that exposed her stomach to fans – but the mystery body part has finally been photographed.

Loved up Taylor held hands with her 27-year-old boyfriend as they walked along the white sand beach together.

She choose a blue and white striped, low-cut bikini for the occasion, known as The Jane by company Solid & Striped, decorated his simple ties on the bottoms.

The pop princess showed off her toned stomach and belly button in her beach wear, perfect for dipping in and out of the ocean and enjoying drinks on the shore.

British actor Joe complimented 28-year-old Taylor in deep blue swim shorts with a buckle clasp, perhaps making his girlfriend feel more comfortable by proudly displaying his navel.

The Grammy winners’ stomach first shot to fame back in 2014, when news site NY Mag speculated that she didn’t have a belly button after she avoided showing it.

It quickly became an internet sensation as photos of the singer covering the area with high-waist skirts and shorts spread across the world.

Taylor responded to claims later that year, saying: “I don’t like showing my belly button. I only partially commit to the midriff thing – so you’re only seeing lower ribcage.”

It was left a mystery until early 2015, when Swift posted one of the only pictures of herself in a bikini on Instagram, revealing her navel to the world for one of very few times after.

She later admitted her reason behind the exposure to BBC Radio 1: “They [the paparazzi] got pictures of us in our bikinis, like I don’t want them to make $100,000 for stalking us.”

Last week the Reputation star was potted in a patriotic red, white and blue striped bikini for her 4th July celebration with her British boyfriend.

Instead of partying the night away, the pair enjoyed a relaxed snorkelling session and lovingly swam side by side in the sea.
