LeBron James laughed as he reacted to a video of Skilla Baby explaining why he doesn’t like the Lakers star.
LeBron James has more than his fair share of haters and while it seemed to really bother him at one stage, he’s learned to embrace the hate over the years. So, when LeBron came across a video of musician Skilla Baby explaining why he dislikes him, James responded in a hilarious fashion.
“Crazy thing is I hate me too!!”
You can check out Skilla Baby’s explanation below.
“I hate Bron,” Baby said. “Bron got a fire a** game, but I hate that new move he do where he look at the ball and then turn fast as hell and shoot that b****. I don’t like how he playing with everybody that ever been good in the NBA.”
Skilla was also not a fan of “The Decision”.
I don’t like how he left Cleveland and went to Miami” Baby continued. “And he had a whole powwow about it (like), ‘I’m taking my talents to South Beach.’ I ain’t like that. I don’t like how he did the Pistons, when was that? 03 or something… I don’t like how he used to travel.”
Skilla, whose real name is Trevon Gardner, is a Michigan native, who has some very painful memories from when James knocked the Detroit Pistons out of the playoffs in 2007 and 2009. Some of his other complaints are ones you hear from so many others as well, like the superteams that James has created over the years.
Skilla Baby Claims He Didn’t Actually Mean What He Said
These comments were made last year and when Skilla realized LeBron had reacted to them, he quickly walked them back. He claimed he didn’t actually mean what he said back then.
“I ain’t even mean to say I hate Bron though,” Skilla said. “It was opposite day. For real, I know you’re the King bro, I ain’t gonna lie bro. You made me bad in 04 bro, 05 whatever it was. Chauncey (Billups) was on his last legs, Rip (Hamilton) was on his last legs… S*** was irritating bro. You were jumping from the free-throw line and you was shooting threes, hitting free throws…”

Young Pistons fans back then surely would have felt a certain way about LeBron, especially after he scored 25 straight points in that iconic Game 5 in 2007. So, you can’t blame him for perhaps still being a little bit bitter over that.
LeBron James Looks For Haters During Warmups
Even great players sometimes need that bit of motivation to go out there and dominate on the court. LeBron gets that motivation by looking for his haters during warmups.
“I go out on the floor during warm-ups and I’ll just be looking for a LeBron hater. I just need one of them. I’ll be like, ‘Please, let me find this one LeBron hater. I need it.’ In the crowd, for warm-ups, it’s like 20 minutes before the game starts and I’m just looking like, ‘Oh, I found this motherf–ker. Oh yeah, I’m ready. I’m gonna be ready to go tonight.'”
The 38-year-old almost certainly will find a hater among the crowd in every single arena that he plays in, and he makes it his goal to ensure they have a miserable night rooting against him.
If James’ haters had been hoping there would be a drop off in his play in his 21st season in the league, they were mistaken. He is averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game, and continues to dominate.
