Lionel Messi and Inter Miami had a team dinner to celebrate the end of their season before they break to enjoy the offseason.
A picture posted to Instagram showed Miami’s players posing together around a large cake – inspired by The Herons – at Casadonna, a new Italian-inspired restaurant and bar in South Florida.
Aside from Messi, several notable members of the roster could be seen in the photo including Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Josef Martinez, Leonardo Campana, and Benjamin Cremaschi.
Inter Miami triumphed in the Leagues Cup – the team’s first ever trophy – but fell short in a bid to reach the playoffs this season. They finished 14th in the MLS Eastern Conference with only 34 points and a record of 9-7-18.
