Dior’s stock price spikes & items from the #DiorSpring24 collection sell-out amidst the massive campaign headed by #Jimin

The leading French luxury fashion brand Dior recently launched its Spring 2024 Collection with Global Ambassador Jimin as the face of this campaign. Dior was recently ranked as the #1 fashion brand, this rise in ranking can be attributed to Jimin’s impact for the brand publicity as well as sales as previously reported.

Its was a historical feat when the highly influential fashion house announced Jimin as the newest global ambassador early this year, making him the first Asian male ever to hold this position for the brand. The news sent shockwaves all around the fashion world causing Dior’s stock prices to spike instantly, reaching an all-time high, as fans flocked to Dior stores to shop in celebration of the big news.

Jimin further made history when he was announced as the face of the Spring 2024 collection campaign, to become the first Asian male in history to be the face of an entire clothing line for the luxury brand, again setting the internet ablaze with the news [read here]. Evidently, Dior was well aware of Jimin’s insurmountable global popularity and strong impact in the fashion world, making the company more than confident in his power to front their entire collection as the face of the campaign. This can also be seen in the ongoing massive scale of the campaign’s roll out all around the world, which has turned out to be the grandest ever seen from the company. Fans who have been taking videos and images of any physical sightings of the campaign ads in various cities and posting on social media have now compiled over 80 appearances as of Nov 8.

Indeed, Dior isn’t wrong to give Jimin such a groundbreaking campaign as just as soon as the ads started going up in malls, Dior official stores and on the streets, and the collection became available for purchase in stores and online, fans set out to get themselves some of the items. Thanks to the rush, most sizes of the pieces that Jimin wears in the campaign ads went out of stock immediately on some regional websites, including Japan and Taiwan among others. Other fans chose to purchase other items from the brand, including bags and earrings to mention a few.
