Some, but not all, have demoted Patrick Mahomes: He plays quarterback like God!

Praise from Michael Irvin

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is playing good football and still receiving praise from all directions.

He was a part of the Chiefs side that managed to secure a 21-14 win over the Miami Dolphins in Germany over the weekend and, even if it was the defence that led the team to that win, the quarterback is still being talked about glowingly.

Michael Irvin describes Patrick Mahomes as “God” playing football

Hall of Fame wideout Michael Irvin was very quick to praise Mahomes and he was also yearning for the days of watching the QB and Tyreek Hill playing together.

Michael Irvin misses the Hill-Mahomes linkup

Irvin was on FS1’s Undisputed and his comments will be very flattering for Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes is basically God playing quarterback, I don’t care what you guys say,” said Irvin.

“He doesn’t have quite the talent he needs at wide receiver, but he always makes just enough plays to keep them in the game. He’s a phenomenal talent.”

Irvin also lamented the Chiefs‘ decision to break up the playmaking trio of MahomesHill and Travis Kelce after trading the receiver to Miami before the 2022 season.

“That combo should have never been broken up, that was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on a football field,” added Irvin.

Hill managed to achieve 331 catches for 4,638 yards for 46 touchdowns in just 58 career games playing with Mahomes and the Chiefs, and he was a huge part of them winning the Super Bowl they clinched against the San Francisco 49ers.

Patrick Mahomes had fun in Germany

After the end of the game in Germany, the focus was on Mahomes‘ interactions with those in the crowd in Frankfurt, and he met Antoine Griezmann.

The Atletico Madrid forward has a keen interest in American sports, although he has previously been most interested in the NBA rather than NFL.

Trump dares Republicans to challenge his unchecked power after shock move to name Matt Gaetz attorney general

Donald Trump sent shockwaves through the Republican party on Wednesday night with his announcement that he’ll nominate Matt Gaetz as his Attorney General in a bold test of his unchecked power. GOP Senators were stunned by the news the MAGA firebrand Florida Congressman was picked for one of the most senior roles in Trump’s second administration in a sign they could try and block his confirmation. Gaetz, 42, is under the subject of an ethics investigation over claims of sexual misconduct, bribery and drug use – which he denies – and was also the focus of unsubstantiated sex trafficking claims involving a 17-year-old girl.

Ukraine denies it’s ‘months away from building nuclear bomb’ to use as bargaining chip to force Putin to end war

UKRAINE has denied reports it could be months away from developing a nuclear bomb. It was claimed Kyiv could build a basic device that would have just one-tenth of the power of the “Fat Man“ – the bomb dropped by the US on Nagasaki in 1945. The claim was first made in a paper published by the Centre for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies – a Ukrainian military think tank, reports The Times.

Matt Gaetz announces bold move just hours after Trump made him his shock cabinet pick to be attorney general

Rep. Matt Gaetz stepped down from his position in the U.S. House of Representatives just hours after Donald Trump picked him as Attorney General. The dramatic move by Gaetz came as Punchbowl News revealed the impending release of a ‘highly damaging’ report concerning sex trafficking and drug use allegations against the Florida rep. Now that Gaetz is no longer a member of Congress, the House Ethics Committee loses jurisdiction over him, although the report may still be released.
