Patrick Mahomes called ‘crybaby’ by NFL fans after ‘complaining to referees on every play’ during Dolphins vs Chiefs

The blockbuster NFL clash in Germany featured a number of questionable calls for both sides

NFL fans have been slamming Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes for his excessive complaining about the officiating crew’s calls in the win over the Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs beat the Dolphins 21-14 in Frankfurt, Germany, in one of the biggest NFL matchups ever played on foreign soil.

But despite the win, Mahomes, 28, faced plenty of criticism for the pressure he exerted on the refs.

The two-time MVP often put his frustration on full display when the Chiefs didn’t get the calls he expected during the game.

He protested with his hands up in the air when Justin Watson failed to secure a reception while covered by Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard in the second half.

Not long after, he wanted a personal foul called on Zach Sieler after sliding down on his run, claiming Miami’s defensive tackle extended his elbow as he fell over the quarterback.

Moments like those prompted posts calling Mahomes a “crybaby” to flood social media.

“Mahomes is a crybaby he wants DPI every non-reception,” one NFL fan wrote.

“Mahomes is really the biggest crybaby in the league. Difficult to watch,” another added.

“Mahomes is such a crybaby bro. Literally every play, calling for a flag on everything,” a third said.

“Patrick Mahomes has slowly become the biggest crybaby in the NFL literally every incomplete pass or tap on his shoulder he’s looking for a penalty,” one wrote.

Chiefs fans joined in calling out the referees when they didn’t throw a flag after a late hit on the scrambling Mahomes.

But the Dolphins faithful countered by pointing out the seemingly missed facemask call as Tyreek Hill and Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed jostled in the second quarter.

Miami launched a 14-0 comeback run in the third quarter after trailing 21-0 at halftime.

But with about a minute left in the game, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa fumbled the ball on 4th and 10 at Kansas City’s 31-yard line to seal the win for the Chiefs.

Mahomes completed 20 of his 30 pass attempts for 185 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday.
