In “Hancock 2,” Will Smith returns as John Hancock, the disenchanted superhero struggling to find his place in a world that both needs and fears him. Following the events of the first film, Hancock is now more determined than ever to use his powers for good. As he tries to reconcile with his past and become a true hero, he uncovers a new and looming threat that could endanger humanity.
The story begins when Hancock discovers disturbing signs of an impending crisis: strange energy readings and violent disturbances linked to a hidden faction of superhumans. Realizing that he cannot face this threat alone, Hancock sets out on a quest to find others like him—beings with extraordinary abilities who have been living in secrecy.
