The most recent Tom Holland Spider-Man 4 updates came from MCU head Kevin Feige. When talking about the next phase of movies, Feige mentioned the ones he is most excited about, including The Marvels and Captain America: New World Order. He then was asked about Spider-Man 4 and said that “we have the story. We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.” He also mentioned the upcoming Daredevil show on Disney+ with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprising their Netflix roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. That is important as the two heroes might be connected.
The MCU has also revealed more about what the title of Spider-Man 4 might look like, by confirming the name of the MCU Spider-Man trilogy is the “Home” trilogy. With this in mind, it’s clear that future movies will follow a different trend, be that another trilogy with its own distinctive title hook, or by having future movies starring Tom Holland’s Spider-Man go by different names without any clear continuing tradition.
