Ava Fears Sonny’s Wrath, Turns To Cates For Safety And Romance

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has currently isolated himself from all of his friends and family, except Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Sonny has been spiraling out of control for months but no one knows the real reason for that. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has had Sonny’s bi-polar medication altered so that Sonny is only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage.

Valentin’s plan is for Sonny to become so unhinged he will either commit a violent crime, or be framed for one.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Knows The Truth About Sonny Corinthos!

While she doesn’t know about Valentin’s involvement, Ava knows that Sonny isn’t receiving the correct dosage. But since she has benefitted from Sonny’s downward spiral, she has opted to keep quiet.

Ava’s silence may work against her though because when the truth comes out, Ava will likely be accused of tampering with the medication herself.

Ava herself has a history of tampering with medication. She did the same thing to Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) which was partially the reason Morgan died.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Is In Trouble!

Even if Ava manages to avoid criminal charges, Sonny will definitely seek revenge. Ava has been playing with fire with her manipulations. She’s lost most of her allies.

Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is in prison and Ava’s best friend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wants nothing more to do with her.

That means if Sonny comes after her. Ava may not have anywhere to turn. Ava’s next move may require her to think outside the box a little bit.

General Hospital Spoilers – Agent John Cates Hates Sonny Corinthos

Ava may surprise everyone by turning to Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington). Ava may not be charged with a crime because of her dealings with Sonny, but she will certainly feel she needs protection.

She certainly could play on Cates’ hate for Sonny to seek his, and the FBI’s protection. For his part, Cates would likely hope Ava has information that could lead to Sonny’s arrest. But the more time they spend together, they may just find themselves falling in love.

GH Spoilers –What Do You Think?

Has Ava actually committed a crime? Will Sonny come after Ava after learning what she knew? Could Ava and Cates find love if they unite against Sonny? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
