UFC president Dana White once claimed that ex-MMA superstar Ronda Rousey would ‘hurt’ Floyd Mayweather in a street fight or in the octagon.
UFC legend Ronda Rousey admitted that she fancied her chances against Floyd Mayweather if they fought in a no-holds-barred match.

Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao argued in 2015 that Rousey could have beaten his fierce rival in an MMA fight.
“[Can she beat him?] I believe so,” he said. “She’s strong. Strong enough to beat Floyd Mayweather in MMA.
UFC Hall of Famer Rousey took part in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit that same year and a fan decided to find out how if she agreed with Pacquiao’s comments.
The 33-year-old ruled out her chances in a boxing match, but she claimed in a no-holds-barred fight that she could “beat anyone on this planet.”

She explained: “Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time.
“He would definitely beat me in a boxing match. I unfortunately don’t get into ‘matches.’
“I fight for a living. In a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet.
“Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at.
“But you said ruleless fight, and that’s my honest answer.”

Dana White, who once revealed how Rousey beat up two men at a movie theatre, has also weighed in on a fight between Mayweather and the ex-UFC superstar.
And the UFC president believed that the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ would ‘hurt’ Mayweather in a street fight or in the octagon.
White explained: “In a boxing match, Floyd beats her all day long.
“In a street fight or in the octagon, she hurts him bad.”

Rousey left MMA in 2016 after suffering devastating back-to-back defeats to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes inside the octagon.
She then signed with WWE and became an instant hit with fans, winning the RAW Women’s Championship in 2018.
She also main evented WrestleMania 35 against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, the first-ever women’s main event at the show.
Rousey hasn’t been seen in the promotion since being pinned by Lynch and a return seems unlikely, as she slammed ‘f**king’ ungrateful fans earlier this year.
“What am I doing it for if I’m not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of f****** ungrateful fans that don’t even appreciate me?” she fumed to close friend Steve-O.
I’m so confused I thought Ronda Rousey loved the WWE, maybe it’s just her ego – but to just make WWE fans sound like they are less than UFC fans is crazy! pic.twitter.com/OOTVilMWE4

“I love performing. I love the girls. I love being out there…but, at the end of the day, I was just like, ‘F*** these fans, dude.’
“My family loves me and they appreciate me and I want all my energy to go into them. So that was my decision at the end of the day.
“It’s like, ‘Hey girls, love what you’re doing. I’m gonna try and take all my momentum and push you guys as far as I can. Fly little birds, fly! I’m going f—ing home!’ And that was basically it.”
