Christina Milian and Lil Wayne once secretly had a dinner date even though they claimed to be just normal friends because they didn’t have everyone’s support for their relationship

Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have been spotted holding hands and making late-night outings around Los Angeles, California, yet they maintain they are merely work colleagues. However, on Sunday night, the R&B songstress seemed to be hiding something as she emerged from a romantic dinner spot with the rapper in Beverly Hills.

Christina couldn’t stop giggling and coyly covered her mouth as Lil Wayne held the door open for her after their dinner at Mastro’s Steakhouse. The recently single 32-year-old has previously claimed that she and the “Believe Me” rapper just “make music together,” but her sly smiles suggested otherwise.

Initially standing right behind the “AM To PM” singer, the 31-year-old rapper quickly stepped back when he realized they had been spotted.

Christina certainly appeared dressed for a date, wearing a flirty white high-neck mini dress from the Walter Collection, paired with a cut-off denim vest and brown leather cage heels. Lil Wayne also made an effort, leaving his baseball cap at home, tying his signature dreads back, and wearing a black T-shirt and pants that were, for him, relatively fitted.

The previous day, Christina—who split from her fiancé Jas Prince in June—denied being in a relationship to TMZ. She emphasized that she is focused on her music, particularly her long-awaited fourth album through Lil Wayne’s label.

“It’s work. I’m finally around my record label and I have the opportunity to make music,” she told TMZ on Saturday. When asked if she would ever consider dating someone who was her manager or producer, she didn’t rule it out, saying, “You never know.”

Arriving separately at the same event, when asked by X17Online if he was dating Christina, Lil Wayne jokingly responded, “Nah, I’m dating J Lo haven’t you heard? We are going steady.”

Despite their denials, the two walked into the ESPY Awards hand-in-hand, fueling speculation about their relationship.

Christina is back on the market after calling off her engagement and has a four-year-old daughter, Violet, with ex-husband The-Dream, who reportedly cheated on her while she was pregnant. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne was engaged to former dancer and model Dhea Sodano, though their relationship status remains unclear.
