Conor McGregor finds new role after ‘Road House’ success for a Peso Pluma music video

Conor McGregor keeps moving onto the acting side of his career

Although Conor McGregor recently announced his upcoming fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, it appears the Irishman liked being in front of cameras. In a sense, all the theatrics that go with the job description as a fighter is an aspect that Conor McGregor absolutely loves. There is literally no UFC fight in which Conor is invited where people don’t enjoy, he puts on a show. Back when he was in his prime, McGregor became the perfect combination because he put his skills where his mouth was every time. However, it’s been a long time since McGregor has even stepped inside an octagon and his recent movie role maybe made an impact in him.

Conor McGregor is back in front of the camera

According to reports, Mexican singer Peso Pluma has hired Conor McGregor to be the lead protagonist of his upcoming ‘La Durango‘ music video song. McGregor appears on a Bentley luxury car hyping up the song and goes to training session with the music in the background. Although this is hardly a movie role, it is clear McGregor loves being in front of the camera and surely will pursue more opportunities once he decides to retire as a UFC fighter. Right now, there is UFC 303 to worry about. His match against Michael Chandler during International Fight Week has to be amongst the most expected events in the sport this year.

UFC president Dana White is also determined to get Conor McGregor a new contract with th company, especially right after his fight against Michael Chandler takes place. Simply by looking at the numbers he produces for the sport is good-enough reason for Dana to try and tie him up with a new contract. If they don’t reach a proper agreement, Conor McGregor will look for new opportunities. Although he remains faithful to the UFC, McGregor does want to be taken more seriously than he has been thus far.
