Will Ava Use Sonny’s Medication Mishap To Steal Avery Away For Good?

General Hospital Spoilers hint Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been biding her time and using her knowledge of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) botched prescription to her advantage.

With him being undermedicated, Ava has a better shot than ever before at manipulating him into getting just what she wants — not that she knows what that is yet. She wasn’t certain she really wanted a relationship with Sonny either — that is, until Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) got in her way.

Rumor has it Ava isn’t going to stand a chance at competing with the new woman who is stealing Sonny’s attention.

That may mean she’ll have to pivot to the next thing she wants the most and always has — full custody of Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola). Will she use Sonny’s instability against him while keeping it to herself that she knows exactly why he’s not himself?

General Hospital Spoilers — Natalia Ramirez Gets In The Way

It’s been a whirlwind of a week for Ava. She thought she had safeguarded her role in Sonny’s life right now, but she clearly underestimated what he’s really like when he’s not properly medicated.

Not receiving the correct daily dose of his meds is having a pretty drastic effect on Sonny’s behavior, but this is the first that he’s turned on Ava.

First, hearing him tell Natalia that he and Ava weren’t involved and it “wasn’t like that” with them instantly brought Ava to her knees.

But Sonny’s cold demeanor when he told Ava she wouldn’t be going to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding with him was the icing on the cake. Right away, she was pulling punches and threatening to take Avery away.

GH Spoilers – Leak Ava Jerome Ducks For Cover

The prevailing problem for Ava won’t even be that she has lost control of the situation to another woman. Sonny’s attention is so fleeting. She honestly should’ve known better than to assume something serious would transpire between them.

But Ava knows about Sonny’s poxed medication, and she can’t exactly reveal what she knows without implicating herself somehow.

Instead, she may push for that blood test so that Sonny can shove the alleged truth in Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) face — all the while knowing it’ll showcase that Sonny actually isn’t properly medicated.

Will this give her the cover she needs to get out of this situation unscathed, or might she find that her anger toward Sonny following his rejection makes her more inured to the idea of getting back at him?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Custody Battle Brews

Ava is talking a big talk right now implying she will move out of Sonny’s place and take their daughter with her.

Sonny knew right away that those were fighting words, and he appeared convinced he would be ready for whatever Ava might throw at him.

At the same time, she has the upper hand since she has had a front-row seat to his recent instability. Will she use that against him to take him back to court and finally secure full custody of Avery like she’s been wanting all of these years and relished when he was presumed dead?

She just might stand a chance at it with so many members of his family also having concerns that he is not acting like himself. We smell a court filing ahead. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this turns out for these co-parents.
