Could Sasha Have A Secret Quartermaine Connection She Is Not Aware Of?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the Quartermaine family was shocked that Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) hired Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as the new cook for the family,

This seems odd for several reasons. First Sasha was once involved romantically with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who is a member of the family and lives in boathouse with his wife.

In addition, until a couple weeks ago, Sasha has made no mention of her history of cooking or that she worked professionally at a restaurant previously. Her ability to cook appears to have manifested out of thin air.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore Has Quite A Colorful Past In Port Charles.

When Sasha first came to town, she was hired by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to pretend to be Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long lost daughter. She’s been through a lot since the ruse was discovered and has paid more than enough for her deception.

That’s ironic because Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) pursued Sasha in the hopes that she would become the Face of Deception.

Sasha accepted and until recently, she seemed happy as a model and spokesperson for the cosmetic company. But a few weeks ago, Sasha announced she wasn’t happy anymore and left the lucrative position!

GH Spoilers – Will Sasha Gilmore Uncover A Connection She Never Knew About?

Sasha has spoken quite a bit about both her mother and her grandmother, but not much about her father. It’s unclear exactly what Sasha relationship was with her father, but he has apparently passed away.

Could he have been a Quartermaine from a different branch of the family? Sasha looks quite a bit like a former Quartermaine cousin who once called Port Charles her home. Perhaps Celia Quartermaine (Sherilyn Wolter) is Sasha’s paternal grandmother!

General Hosptial Spoilers – Could Celia Quartermaine Return To Port Charles?

Celia hasn’t been mentioned in a very long time but she had romances with both Grant Putnam and Grant Andrews (both played by Brian Patrick Clarke) as well as Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond). She was also best friends with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).

Perhaps Sasha will find a picture of Celia and find it familiar. This could lead to a big reveal of Sasha’s status as a Quartermaine cousin.

Even though she was with Michael at one point, they would be distant cousins at best so that should minimize any awkwardness.

Sasha discovering ties to a prominent family in Port Charles could open up story possibilities for the young woman.

GH Spoilers – What Do You think?

Do you think it’s a step backward for Sasha to take a position as a cook? Could Sasha have ties to the Quartermaine’s that she was unaware of? Could she be Celia Quartermaine’s granddaughter?

Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC. And don’t forget to check back right here regularly for all your General Hospital news, information and spoilers!
