Per the Japan News, Ohtani shared that maintaining his off-field life will get a little tougher going forward. “The season has just started, so I think it will get tougher ahead,” Ohtani said. “But I’m gradually getting a rhythm to my lifestyle, and as I get more accustomed to things, it will all become easier.” While the superstar was hopeful that things would become easier soon, he did experience something extremely new in this event.

When asked what was he looking forward to in the event, Ohtani revealed this was his first-ever concert. “This is the first time for me to attend a concert, so I would like to enjoy the concert itself first,” Ohtani said.

Though it is rare to see Ohtani anywhere other than the baseball field, it’s still quite surprising that this might have been his first concert. Even if it is, attending Ed Sheeran’s show might just be the perfect start that the 2x MVP needed. It seems with Mamiko Tanaka by his side, Ohtani is slowly becoming more open to other luxuries of life. And that’s great news for fans who are dying to get a glimpse of their icon.
