John Cena claims only FOUR wrestlers should be considered as the GOAT of WWE… as he excludes himself and The Undertaker from his illustrious list

John Cena has named the four wrestlers he views as the GOATs of WWE, omitting himself and The Undertaker from his distinguished list.

Several fans would put Cena at the forefront of WWE’s greatest of all time conversation, but the 16-time world champion believes there are four stars more deserving of the title.

Cena, 46, who revealed in January his plans to retire from WWE before he turns 50, was asked to name his GOAT during an interview with Chris van Vliet this week.

‘This is just my perspective, and again, we’re talking objectivity. So, of course, it’s only opinion,’ the WWE superstar said.

Hulk Hogan would have to be in there. Steve Austin, Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, and Roman Reigns.

‘Roman has done a fantastic job of taking the business to heights it’s never been to before.’

Placing Reigns, 38, in the company of three historic superstars is testament to the wrestler’s sensational career in the WWE.

The American is the current and longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion and also holds the WWE Champion title for the fourth time.

The Undertaker is perhaps a surprise exclusion from Cena’s illustrious list, given the longevity of his iconic career.

While he may not boast the same accolades in terms of titles and belts, The Undertaker will always be remembered for his historic WrestleMania win streak of 8,415 days, triumphing in 21 consecutive matches.

Fans are hopeful that Cena, who has not fought in the WWE ring since Crown Jewel in November 2023,  will appear at WrestleMania 40 in April.

The veteran’s inclusion will hinge significantly on his acting schedule however, with Cena set to start filming for the second season of Peacemaker very soon.
