Anthony Joshua predicts the winner of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk fight as he claims one ‘phenomenal’ fighter will come out victorious in heavyweight clash
Anthony Joshua has made a bold prediction about who will win the fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.
On May 18 the two heavyweight champions will take to the ring in Saudi Arabia to settle their score.
They were previously supposed to face off before the bout was rescheduled due to a cut that Fury picked up in his training camp.
Fury is set to defend his WBC title while Usyk will put his WBA, WBO and IBF titles on the line.
Speaking ahead of the bout, Joshua has made his prediction on who will win the fight.

Fury will be keen to show the world how good he is after a poor performance against Francis Ngannou
‘I’ve fought Usyk so I can only speak on what I’ve experienced with him – phenomenal fighter, I would say he’s gonna do a really good job,’ he told TalkSport.
‘I’ve never fought Fury, so I can’t speak on what it’s like to face him. Only speaking on what I know, I have to say Usyk will be victorious.’
Joshua has lost to Usyk twice on points and was heavily criticised for his performance in the first fight.
The winner could end up facing former champion Joshua, who has also revealed his shortlist for the next fights.
It remains to be seen as to who will come out victorious, but with less than a month until fight night, AJ has given his prediction.
Joshua impressed in his last fight, stopping Francis Ngannou, who Fury previously struggled against.
Having watched his fellow Brit make far easier work of Ngannou than he did, Fury will want to make amends next month, but he has his work cut out against the undefeated Usyk.
Usyk holds wins over Joshua (twice), Daniel Dubois, Derek Chisora and Tony Bellew in his career, and will be hoping to beat a fifth British opponent to cement his place as the best heavyweight on the planet.
