“Oh, you ain’t trying to leave nothing,” the rapper joked after the toddler picked up a small piece of the cookie she had dropped
Diddy is sharing a very relatable parenting moment.
On Saturday, the rapper, 53, posted a video on Instagram of his 1-year-old daughter Love — whom he shares with model Dana Tran — toddling around a playground while happily munching on a cookie.
“Hey, look at you walking. Look at you,” Diddy cooed as he filmed her. “You look like a little person. You a little person? Yes, Daddy, that’s what you made me — a little person.”
However, Love’s carefree snacking session soon took a turn when she toppled over. “That’s right, get up, baby. Get up,” her dad encouraged her. “You can do it! You can do it!”
As Love repeatedly tried to push herself back up with her hands, the cookie got smeared on the pavement. When she finally managed to stand again, she realized she had left a small piece behind on the ground so she plopped back down to grab it.
“Oh, You gonna eat … you still gonna eat that? Oh, you ain’t trying to leave nothing,” Diddy joked, before Love proceeded to lift the piece of cookie toward her mouth.
“No, no, no, no!” the musician exclaimed while the image of Love disappeared from the frame and scuffling noises could be heard as Diddy dashed over to try and stop his daughter.
“Don’t put that in your mouth. Spit it,” he told her before realizing he was too late.
“Oh, shoot. Well, you’re a tough baby. Eat the dirty food,” he said, laughing. “Daddy used to eat dirt. How do you like dirt?”
Diddy’s followers were quick to reassure him in the comments section, with many of them saying they had been there, done that with their own kids and everything had turned out OK.
“Immune system will be top tier! 😂 She alright Daddy…she alright…” one person wrote, while another said, “Every parent has that moment of nooooooooo… too late!”
“Five second rule,” joked another.
Earlier this month, Diddy and Tran, 28, celebrated Love’s first birthday with a pink-themed party. The proud father shared highlights from the event, which featured balloon arches, pretty floral arrangements and a sign displaying photos from each month of the little girl’s first year of life.
“HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY LOVE!!! DADA LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!!” he wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of Love posing in her party dress by a multicolored balloon display.
In addition to the birthday celebration, the hip-hop mogul and his daughter got into the Halloween spirit early by taking her costume for a spin. On Oct. 8, he posted a video of Love in a white chicken outfit, bouncing up and down as a song played chicken sounds. “Love wanted to start Halloween early!” he wrote in the caption.
The father-daughter duo also visited a pumpkin patch as part of their spooky season festivities. Diddy shared a photo from the outing, capturing Love wearing what appeared to be a gourd-inspired costume. She posed on top of a hale bale surrounded by pumpkins and other Halloween decorations.
“It’s Baby Love’s first Halloween! 🙏🏿” Diddy declared.

The musician is also dad to six other children. He and the late model Kim Porter — who died in 2018 from pneumonia — welcomed Christian, 25, and twins D’Lila and Jessie, 16, together. Diddy also adopted Porter’s son Quincy, 32, from her previous relationship with singer and record producer Al B. Sure! He shares son Justin, 29, with stylist and fashion designer Misa Hylton and daughter Chance, 17, with businesswoman Sarah Chapman.
Shortly after Love’s October 2022 birth, Diddy shared the first glimpse of his baby daughter in a family photo for Christmas. He and his kids posed together in matching striped pajama onesies and Santa hats for the
