During a Detroit event, Nicki Minaj throws an object back into the crowd after it almost hits her in the face.

Nicki Minaj is the most recent superstar to be thrown an object at during a concert last Saturday, following Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, and Kelsea Ballerini in similar unsettling events.

The 41-year-old hip-hop artist would have been struck in the face if she hadn’t lifted her right hand to deflect the missile, which looked like a bracelet.

Then, as seen in countless fan videos posted online, Nicki (born Onika Maraj) knelt down to retrieve the object before furiously tossing it back into the crowd.

Minaj appeared momentarily surprised, her mouth hanging open, before gathering herself and carrying on with her performance at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena.

To make matters worse, the event happened on New Year’s Eve while the 12-time Grammy nominee was singing her 2012 hit song Starships, which she described as “a stupid song” that she “doesn’t like.”

After Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, and Kelsea Ballerini all experienced alarming situations with objects being hurled at them during concerts, Nicki Minaj became the most recent celebrity to experience this last Saturday.

But Nicki, who has 353 million social media followers, didn’t let the incident spoil her evening. Later on Instagram, she described the event as “next level,” saying, “Detroit you da bestest!” Until the next occasion! I cherish you.

Both Honey Pack rapper-singer Sada Baby and six-time Grammy nominee Big Sean joined Minaj in Michigan.

According to TMZ, the actress, who was born in Trinidad and reared in New York, had good news last Wednesday when a judge approved her husband Kenneth Petty’s plea to accompany her on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour overseas. Petty has been married for four years.

While Nicki is at work, the 46-year-old “music industry professional,” who is on three years of probation for neglecting to register as a 𝑠e𝑥 offender in California, will take on the role of primary caretaker for their three-year-old son, who goes by “Papa Bear.”

When Minaj first got to know Kenneth, he had served a total of 11 years in jail for killing a man in 2002 and raping a 16-year-old female in 1995. Minaj was only 16 at the time.
