Malti looked adorable as she was dressed in tiny crocs, a smocked shirt and a sweet star-patterned skirt.
Nick and Priyanka didn’t bring their baby girl home until May as she was born 12-weeks early via surrogate and had to spend her first 100-plus days in the NICU.
And recently, Priyanka got open and honest about her experience being a first time mom.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Chopra admitted she’s fearful about making mistakes as a parent and that motherhood gets overwhelming ‘every day.’
She elaborated: ‘I think when you put them to bed, it’s extremely overwhelming because every single day you worry about what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make.
‘But you have to check yourself, and I check myself with my family.’
The Jharkhand, India native admitted that motherhood has been full of tense yet rewarding moments.
But then there are the times when she’s been able to be reassured in the job she’s doing just by looking at the demeanor of her little girl.

‘Overwhelmed’: Chopra admitted she’s fearful about making mistakes as a parent and that motherhood gets overwhelming ‘every day’
Opening up: She added: ‘I think when you put them to bed, it’s overwhelming because every single day you worry about what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make’
‘I look at [my daughter’s] smile, and I’m like, ‘Okay, okay. I’m doing good so far,” the former Quantico star said, before clarifying, ‘It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary.’
Now, after being a mother for more than a year-and-a-half, Chopra has noticed some unexpected things about herself.
‘It’s made me a tad more sensitive and fragile, I think, and it makes me nervous a little bit. I didn’t expect that,’ she shared of her feelings and emotions.
‘I don’t think it was our test. I think it was her test,’ Chopra said of Malti’s experience in the hospital. ‘I realized very, very early that I did not have the luxury to be scared or to be weak because she was scared and weak.
With her motherly instincts already in place, Chopra said she knew she had to be strong her her baby.
‘I needed to make her feel at every given moment that she’s not alone,’ she shared, ‘That we’ve got her.’
In the prefect gift for her mom, Malti made it home for the first time right before Mother’s Day last year.
Once they were able to bring their daughter home, Chopra quickly realized a whole new set of fears.
All is revealed: ‘I look at [my daughter’s] smile, and I’m like, ‘Okay, okay. I’m doing good so far,” the former Quantico star said of when she’s feeling unsure about how’s she doing as a mom
‘[In the NICU], you know your child is alive because you can see their heartbeat [on the monitor]. I couldn’t sleep for days because now suddenly she was home without a monitor,’ the Love Again actress explained.
‘I used to put my ear on her chest. I would wake up every couple of minutes just to see if she was OK. For weeks, this went on.’
Initially, the first-time parents did their best to keep their daughter out of the spotlight, so that she could build up her strength without any distractions.
However, Chopra and Jonas have appeared to loosen things up in more recent times, and are now taking her out to appearances and are showing her face a little bit more in social media posts.
Just this past January, around her first birthday, Malti made her first public appearance with her parents when she attended the ceremony honoring the Jonas Brothers with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in Los Angeles.
