Gal Gadot rocked a rather leggy look while hitting the red carpet at the world premiere of Barbie in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old Israeli-born beauty was all smiles while hitting the red carpet solo at the premiere, held at the Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles.
Ironically, just over one month earlier, Barbie star Margot Robbie revealed that Gal Gadot herself was the first choice to play the iconic Mattel character in this movie.
Gadot stepped out in a stunning brown sleeveless dress that showed off some sideboob with white vertical pinstripes, which fashions itself into an elaborate bow, for the event.
She had her dark hair tied back into a ponytail and accessorized with gold hoop earrings and a unique cream-colored handbag.
The Wonder Woman star completed her look with nude heels while walking the red carpet in style.
For her makeup, Gal opted for a ‘Bronzed Barbie’ look, working with beauty pro Jo Baker to achieve the perfect red carpet glow, using a host of products from Stila Cosmetics, including the All Day Foundation & Concealer, the Complete Harmony Lip & Cheek Stick, and the Heaven’s Hue Highlighter.
Finally, the look was finished off with a slick of the brand’s Plumping Lip Glaze in Toffee.
Back in late May, Barbie star Margot Robbie – who was attached as a producer before she came aboard to star – revealed her and director Greta Gerwig first eyed Gadot to star as the beloved character.
‘Gal Gadot is Barbie energy. Because Gal Gadot is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that beautiful, because she’s so genuinely sincere, and she’s so enthusiastically kind, that it’s almost dorky. It’s like right before being a dork,’ Robbie said in an interview with Vogue.
Gadot wasn’t available, though, so Robbie took on the role herself in the new film, which hits theaters July 21, with Robbie starring alongside Ryan Gosling.
Just a few months later, Gadot herself spoke with Vogue, though in her interview she opened up about how becoming a mother has shaped her life.
The actress has been married to real estate developer Jaron “Yaron” Varsano since 2008 and they share three children, Alma, 11, Maya, five, and Daniella, one.
‘The biggest thing that changed in my life since I became a mother 11 years ago, was learning that it’s not just about me. I’m not the most important thing in the world. They are,’ Gadot admitted.
‘And there’s something just simply healthy about the fact that it’s not all about you. It puts everything in perspective. And you love, like you’ve never loved before,’ she added.
She added her children are, ‘everything’ to her, adding, ‘I’ll do anything for them. They’ve taught me so many things.’
‘How to keep on going, even when you were so exhausted and you didn’t sleep at night and had to shoot in the morning. They taught me that I can do much more than I thought I could,’ Gadot continued.
Gadot is coming off brief, uncredited role in both Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash, likely her last performances as Wonder Woman.
She’ll next be seen in Heart of Stone, slated to arrive August 11 on Netflix, and she plays the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action Snow White, arriving March 22, 2024.
