Conor McGregor shows incredible body transformation in Roadhouse poster alongside Jake Gyllenhaal

McGregor’s winning days when he won everything in the featherweight category are long gone, after he’s undergone a radical physical change that began as an alternative to continuing his career as a professional fighter but is also the result of the lifestyle that prevails after being out of commission from the octagon for such a long time.

McGregor’s comeback has been beyond promised but nothing has been confirmed

Conor McGregor has been undergoing a physical transformation of late as he prepares for his return to active combat sports.

The Irishman hasn’t been in a fight since July 2021 when he was in the octagon against Dustin Poirier, who outboxed McGregor in the first round and walked out of the cage with a broken leg.

McGregor hasn’t fought since that night and there has been rampant speculation about what level he will return to after being out of the game for so long and he doesn’t always seem to be taking the best care of his body.

This time it’s more muscle than fat

For his expected return, McGregor has once again shown his ability to take on the necessary transformations and moves and seems to be getting into a physical shape that his fans and opponents have not seen before.

The fighter himself claimed months ago that he has gained 15 kilograms of muscle “and not a drop of fat.”

A 190lb McGregor

Although Conor McGregor forged his career to stardom in the featherweight division, his physique corresponds more to that of a higher category.

The fighter found himself with the biggest muscle bulk of his entire career, which even sparked a series of rumors about the fighter’s use of PEDs.

In addition, this weight gain also sparked speculation that McGregor was negotiating a bout at welterweight, which has not happened and does not look like it will happen.

McGregor has been unable to set a specific weight

After months of speculation, but no official announcement, the idea of seeing McGregor fight in a higher division seems to be falling by the wayside. The lack of consistency in training and the ups and downs of his weight suggests the retirement of the former double champion.
