Zendaya channeled her Dune character while promoting Part Two of the upcoming science-fiction epic at a promotional event in Mexico City on Monday.
The actress, 27, stars as Chani, a member of the Fremen, a tribe living in the deserts of Arrakis as off-world colonisers try to steal the planet’s natural resources.
Zendaya wore an eye-catching haute couture look constructed from ruched grey, olive and black fabric that wrapped across her chest for the photocall at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Rope-style sections twisted around her shoulders, as the outfit mirrored the suits her character wears to survive the perilously dry desert on Arrakis in the Dune films.
The outfit also featured a low-cut black skirt trimmed with crimson satin and completed with a thigh-high leg slit.

To complete her look, Zendaya wore her dark hair tied back, with a few strands to frame her elegantly made-up face.
The actress confirmed she would reprise her role as Chani in a prospective third Dune film during a cast interview with Fandango on Friday.
She joined by several of her castmates, including Timothee Chalamet and Florence Pugh, for the sit-down, where they discussed various aspects of the upcoming Denis Villeneuve-directed movie Dune: Part Two.
At one point, the actress was asked if she, as well as her castmates, would be interested in reprising their roles in a prospective film based on the 1969 novel Dune Messiah.
Zendaya responded: ‘Would we be down? I mean of course. Any time Denis [Villeneuve] calls, it’s a yes from me. I’m excited to see what happens.’
The Euphoria star went on to reveal that she had begun reading Dune Messiah and quickly stopped in order to develop a better understanding of the storyline.
She recalled: ‘I started Messiah and I was like, “Woah, I’m only shooting the first movie. Let me just go back to the first one.”‘
Although Zendaya admitted that working on Dune Messiah would be a difficult endeavor, she was confident that Villeneuve was the right director for the job.

‘It’s so much to take in, but there’s no better hands with better care and love for it than Denis,’ she said.
‘I know he’s a perfectionist in many ways and doesn’t want to share things unless he’s fully ready to do that. So [I’m] respecting that and waiting until he’s ready.’
Zendaya made her debut as Chani in Dune: Part One, which was released in 2021.
The movie, which was based on Frank Herbert’s novel of the same name, was a hit with both audiences and critics.
