Patrick Mahomes delivers hilarious response after NFL fans mocked his ‘dad bod’ in viral video of the Chiefs quarterback’s shirtless celebration: ‘Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!?’

Patrick Mahomes hilariously hit back at NFL fans who have been mocking him over his ‘dad bod’ after a video of the Chiefs’ AFC Championship celebrations went viral on social media.

Locker room footage of a shirtless, beaming Mahomes appeared on X, also known as Twitter, in the latest episode of Inside the NFL following Kansas City’s 17-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

However, it didn’t take long for the the two-time NFL MVP to realize that he was the subject of online trolling.

‘Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? #DadBodSNZ,’ Mahomes tweeted.

‘Like I got kids!!!!’ he added.

Inside the NFL shared a video of the Chiefs’ locker room reaction after beating the Ravens, as fans were in shock by Patrick Mahomes’ ‘dad bod’

Mahomes hit back at the trolling on X, asking fans why they have to grill him over his physique

In the video, the six-time Pro Bowler can be seen telling his teammates that ‘we ain’t done yet,’ as the Chiefs booked their spot in a Super Bowl matchup for the fourth time in the last five seasons.

However, NFL Fans paid more attention to Mahomes’ relatable physique more than they did on the content of the clip, itself.

‘I feel like someone photoshopped his head on my body,’ one fan tweeted.

‘He is so fit,’ another joked while someone else pointed out that ‘bro’s just like me.’

‘I never thought seeing Mahomes shirtless would make me feel better about how I look shirtless,’ shared a different fan.

‘I see no differences,’ another clarified, comparing Mahomes’ body to a picture of a shirtless Jason Kelce cheering on the Chiefs during their AFC Divisional win against the Bills, last week. Kelce, like Mahomes, has a ‘dad bod.’

Not all fans were impressed by the way which Mahomes conditions his body, with a user tweeting: ‘All jokes aside, you really ought to get in better shape if you want to have long successful career. Tom Brady was disgustingly out of shape for most of his career, but he was a pocket statue. You are not. Take this seriously…’

Mahomes, who is in his in his seventh NFL season, is officially listed at 6ft 2in and 225 pounds by the Chiefs.

His wife, Brittany, once revealed that her husband enjoys eating Doritos in bed at night.

‘I used to be a cool ranch guy, but now I’m on the purple bag,’ Mahomes said, referring to the sweet chili flavor.

Maybe, just maybe, eating a bag of chips before bed at night doesn’t get you in the best of shape.
