On the evening of January 15, female singer IU released the first “tease” image for the MV “Love Wins”, with the participation of V of BTS – taking on the male lead role.

In the first image of the MV, IU (Lee Ji Eun) and V (Kim Taehyung) sit facing each other at a round banquet table. The scenery around the room and everything on the table were in disarray, covered in dust… but the two people still calmly gave each other affectionate gestures.

The MV “Love Wins” will be released on January 24, while V is performing his military service.

In early December last year, Korean media reported that V (BTS) took on the main role in IU’s new MV right before enlisting in the army.

The production team had to speed up the schedule, filming the MV first to fit the male singer’s enlistment schedule, on December 11, 2023.
