Ahead of the exciting second season, Harry said he joined because he thought it was a ‘great opportunity’.
He said: ‘It’s a life-changing experience, and not many people get to say that they’ve been on TV!
‘It will be such a great experience. Don’t get me wrong, though, the money at the end would also be life-changing.’
Harry admitted that he hopes he will be able to be a traitor, more than a faithful, in the upcoming series.
He added: ‘I want to be a Traitor so bad! I know everyone says it, but I’ve always said I feel like I’ve got a Jekyll and Hyde in me.
‘Where Monday to Friday I’m a Corporal and as soon as it hits Friday, I’m just Harry and I don’t want to think about work for the weekend.
‘I also have five brothers and sisters so I can tell little white lies and I make myself believe them first and then it just becomes the truth.’
A first-look clip was released ahead of The Traitors returning for season two on Wednesday night.

Claudia Winkleman, 51, will once again host the competition where 22 strangers play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000
Claudia Winkleman, 51, will once again host the competition where 22 strangers play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000.
In the show, the majority of contestants are ‘Faithfuls’ and must work out who amongst them are ‘Traitors’ – who have the opportunity to ‘murder’ a fellow contestant each night.
The group has daily ‘banishments’ in which they must vote to kick out who they think is a Traitor, all while working together on challenges to raise money for the prize fund.
In the first episode, Claudia will select which contestants will secretly become the new Traitors.
In addition, the contestants compete in various ‘missions’, which up until now have had the aim of increasing the prize pot.
But as she addressed the castmates for the 2024 season as they lined up beside a loch, Claudia revealed that this year’s missions have arrived with a new twist.
As well as providing the opportunity of raising £15,000 for the prize pot, Claudia added a surprising new layer to the challenges.
She said: ‘I have also some news. This year on these missions, you’re not just playing for money – you are also playing for your lives.

Players will have the chance to win a shield, which would protect them from being murdered by the Traitors
The first mission will see the 22 new castmates line up beside a loch
Two of the shields are located in the loch and one is up for grabs on land
Tensions are high as the first episode also sees Claudia select the new Traitors
‘This, players, is a shield. Three of you can win one of these on a mission. There are two in the loch and one on land.
‘This protects you from being murdered by the traitors, but it does not protect you from Banishment.
‘So to be clear, if you go for a shield you will be protected from murder. But at what cost?
‘Basically what you’ve got to think is what’s more important – your money, or your life?’
Every evening, a Banishment ceremony occurs where the cast have the chance to get rid of those they suspect are traitors.
However, they often mistakenly banish a fellow faithful instead, provoked by the manipulations of the real traitors.
The 22 contestants taking part have been revealed ahead of the show – and include a man who was brought back to life after being pronounced dead at the side of a road, a parliamentary affairs adviser, disability model, and a clairvoyant.
They are competing for a prize of up to £120,000, with multiple winners or just one. The prize also varies depending on whether a contestant is a ‘faithful’ or a ‘traitor’.
This series Claudia will be joined by comedian Ed Gamble who is presenting a special spin-off podcast for the hit show.
The first season of The Traitors, which was set in a Scottish castle, launched at the end of November 2022
