Mahomes and Allen keep proving time and again that they are the two best players
Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will become the only two quarterbacks to start every single game since 2021 now that Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence will miss his first career match on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers in Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.
Mahomes, 28, and Allen, 27, keep proving time and again that they are the two best players under center in the entire league. Plus, availability is the best ability, so there’s very little to criticize about them.
Lawrence, 24, probably should not have played last game, either, but he is an old-school type of QB that will always be ready to compete regardless of injury.
He too is a durable quarterback, but Mahomes and Allen have a lot more to boast about in their resume, with the Kansas City Chiefs QB clearly outperforming his Buffalo Bills counterpart.

Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen could meet again
Mahomes regrets the way he left the field a couple weeks ago after losing to the Bills, essentially telling Allen that “the worst call ever” saved him.
Allen and Mahomes could meet in the playoffs should the Bills win out with just a couple games left to play.
When it comes to durability, though, Mahomes still has Allen beat because he has played a few more games than the Bills QB.
