Ms. Martinez was arrested by police on Nov. 4 after bringing her dog Rainy to the Houston Animal Care and Regulation Office with Rainy’s back legs rotting and nearly falling off. Investigators discovered that the poor little dog was also malnourished. They had to amputate Rainy’s stinking left leg and bandage Rainy’s wound.

The ABC said that despite “seeing him limping, Ms. Martinez did not mention it.” Police also found a white Maltese poodle and another dog in Ms. Martinez’s home. Both animals were malnourished and severely infected.
If convicted of animal cruelty, Martínez could face up to two years in prison. “I feel like I didn’t do anything wrong. “It’s not fair,” she responded. It is unclear whether Ms. Martínez will lose her position as principal after the previous scandal.
