A fan attempted to approach Taylor nine years ago when she was in the middle of an interview.
The fan urged Taylor to join her in celebrating her birthday by rowing the boat to where she was standing and announcing that it was her birthday and that she would be having an afternoon tea here:
Player: “Sister, it’s my birthday, come over and play on my birthday”
Taylor Swift: “Here, I’ll give you $90. Where can you go to a nicer place to have a party?” she said, carefully withdrawing cash from her wallet.
The two gave one other a passionate hug after the girl accepted the money. After saying farewell, Taylor noticed the fan getting onto the boat.
Afterwards, the fan was able to successfully sell it on eBay for $90, with a price of $13,500.
