The sexiest man in the world joins the army

On December 12, the remaining two members of BTS, Jimin and Jungkook, enlisted in the army. Fans followed the request from the management company and did not come to see their idol off.

According to Mydaily, on December 12, Jimin and Jungkook of BTS arrived at the Main Recruit Training Center of the Infantry Division No. 5 in Yeoncheon-gun to enlist. Korean media said that no fans appeared at the military enlistment location of the two BTS members. Instead, they cheered their idols with countless banners, balloons and buses.

Cheering banners, buses or balloons were decorated near the training center early. Through that, fans sent messages to the two idols: “Stay healthy and safe”, “I will wait for you” or “Every day of waiting is happiness”.

Previously, the management company asked fans not to gather in front of BTS’s military enlistment location. Two members V and RM even knelt down and begged the audience. They hope fans will not come to see them off to limit congestion and prevent accidents and trouble for other rookies. That’s why no fans came to see off the two youngest members of BTS.

Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook also shared their thoughts through the live broadcast. The two were moved with tears in their eyes as they said goodbye to their fans.

Jungkook expressed in the early morning of December 12: “The broadcast was a little late because I wanted to say goodbye to V and Namjoon (RM). I want to eat a nice meal, do some work, organize everything, and prepare myself. Please take care of yourself. Actually, I don’t know much to say, I just want you to stay healthy and happy. I will miss you guys. Feeling a bit sad, but I will complete the training course well and come back stronger.”

One day earlier, RM and V enlisted at the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province. Not many fans came to see off the two male singers. All members of BTS were present to see off RM and V. In particular, Jin, J-Hope who is serving in the army and SUGA who is a social worker also took leave to meet their teammates.

After the 2030 Busan World Expo Hosting Concert held in October 2022, BTS temporarily stopped group activities to focus on individual activities. From then on, the members took turns enlisting in the army. Jin is taking on the role of teaching assistant in the 5th Division’s recruit training battalion and J-Hope also enlisted in April. SUGA has been working as a social worker since September.

Thus, all BTS members have started performing military service. They plan to reunite in 2025 after all members are discharged from the military.
