Dwayne Johnson’s only chance to fight Henry Cavill could be in Jumanji 4.
Dwayne Johnson’s epic adventure film Jumanji is reportedly prepping for its fourth and final installment. The franchise dates back all the way from 1995 with Robin Williams’ classic portrayal of Alan Parrish. The reboot took place in 2017 with The Rock leading Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

The sequel Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) teased the potential of another installment after the massive box office success of the movie. With Jumanji 4 in its early development stage, fans should expect Johnson to return, as well as Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan.
Dwayne Johnson’s Jumanji 4 Should Cast Henry Cavill
The fourth Jumanji movie has been previously teased by Kevin Hart in his interview with Variety. He revealed that he and Dwayne Johnson have discussed the possible “final chapter” of the franchise. He stated:
“We’re going to have to do it soon. I talked to him the day before yesterday. Right now, we got the ball rolling on some big ideas… We’re talking about, of course, another Jumanji. That’s been a conversation. [We’re] just figuring out the thing that can act as what would or could be the final chapter of he and I. We feel we need something big to put our duo to an end and not just leave it undone like something that we can say, ‘This is going to be our last and final movie.’”
With this statement, fans are expecting that the final installment will leave the audience mind-blown and satisfied, hence calling for a major star power that The Rock and the team could collaborate with.
Johnson’s Black Adam shot for the stars and teased a potential Superman versus Black Adam showdown. This, of course, did not happen after James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC Studios and revamped everything. It was evident that The Rock badly wanted to work with Henry Cavill at the time.
Henry Cavill
But, there is still hope that this dream collaboration would happen in the upcoming Jumanji 4 movie. Cavill has been very expressive about his passion for gaming, and a plot line where people are sucked into a video game to play life-or-death survival would definitely attract his attention.
There are a lot of opportunities for the Man of Steel star in the Jumanji franchise; he could play the villain and finally give the audience the Cavill versus Johnson match they have always wanted to witness.
What To Expect In Jumanji 4?
Jumanji
There is currently no confirmed release date for Jumanji 4. After the strike delayed all film productions and the actors currently working on different projects, fans would have to at least wait until 2025 if the filming begins in 2024.
Plot details remain scarce at this point, though the basic premise would be the same as the previous installments. The 1995 film saw the characters discover a board game that transported them into the chaos of the jungle. Its latest iteration, The Rock’s movies, changed the idea of Jumanji and turned it into a video game.
Jumanji: The Next Level teased the possible plot for the upcoming installment with the jungle’s animals being released into the real world. This would make an interesting story for the fourth film and even excite fans more if Henry Cavill joined in on the fun.
