Journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has now claimed that two Chelsea players are now in talks to join the same European club.
He took to Twitter to state that both Armando Broja and Malang Sarr are in talks to join a side from Turkey after having a tough time of things at Stamford Bridge.
Broja was actually handed a rare start last weekend against Everton, however he failed to take his chance for the first team.
He has only started three games so far this season, with him being largely behind Nicolas Jackson in the pecking order.
This is despite the Senegal international certainly not setting the world alight since his move to Stamford Bridge.
Injuries have also had an effect on the 22-year-old’s development. He picked up a serious knee injury a year ago now.
Broja and Sarr wanted by Turkish club
Sarr on the other hand has been a mere afterthought at Stamford Bridge this season, perhaps hinted at by Mauricio Pochettino’s reaction to being asked about him earlier this season.
The Blues couldn’t find a suitor for the Frenchman over the summer, and were always going to be looking to get his wages off the books when the window opens again in January.
“Representatives of Chelsea’s Malang Sarr and Armando Broja are in talks with a big club from Turkey!”
It has been claimed today that Broja would not actually be keen on a move to Turkey, with him obviously coming through the academy at Cobham.
However, the owners will also be aware of that situation, and see the striker as an opportunity to get pure profit on the books as they approach another transfer window of spending big.
It has been claimed that a number nine is at the top of their priority list, with them reportedly interested in Victor Osimhen from Napoli or Ivan Toney from Brentford.
