When her legs were broken, a stray mother dog went to heroic lengths to protect her babies, demonstrating extraordinary determination to keep them safe.

Ahmed Abdelhamid came across a helpless dog near Mustafa Kamel St. in Egypt, who was clearly in a troublesome situation.

The mother dog had a variety of serious injuries, including broken paws, fractured teeth and back pain. According to stories, she had given birth to 10 puppies, but unfortunately six of them had not survived.

Despite her injuries, she was doing everything she could to gather enough food to sustain the lives of her remaining cubs.

Every day, Ahmed Abdelhamid gives milk, food and water to the mother and her cubs. While he may not have all the resources necessary to restore them to health, he is doing everything he can to help them.
