BLACKPINK has once again demonstrated their popularity with another historic achievement on Spotify, one of the most important music platforms in the world.

In the recent unveiling of “Spotify Wrapped” for 2023, a comprehensive list showcasing the most streamed and featured artists on the platform, BLACKPINK emerged as a standout act. The globally renowned K-pop girl group secured the title of Spotify’s #1 Most Streamed Girl Group for the year. This achievement is particularly remarkable given that BLACKPINK did not have a group comeback in 2023. Their only release was a non-promotional track for their video game, “The Game.” Despite the absence of active promotions and new group projects, BLACKPINK managed to outshine other female acts, many of whom had frequent musical releases throughout the year.

Since 2019, BLACKPINK has consistently held the coveted #1 spot on Spotify’s annual list, a testament to the extraordinary streaming success of their hits.
