The singer, 28, braved the winter weather in the floor-length coat, which had no buttons, as she headed to her car.
Her outfit appeared to consist of a black bodysuit with a black sheer lace cardigan which tied across her chest.
Dua wore the saucy number with black, knee-high, heeled boots and carried her purse in her hand.
The hitmaker departed The Greenwich Hotel where she is staying during her trip to the Big Apple.

Dua was recently in Narita, Japan to promote her new single Houdini which came out in November.
Houdini is the lead single from Dua’s upcoming third studio album DL3 which will be released some time in November.
This year, the single dabbled into acting for the first time, appearing very briefly in Greta Gerwig’s smash hit comedy film Barbie.
Next year, Dua will be seen in Argylle, a spy action comedy film, which will also star John Cena and Henry Cavill.
Dua was in Narita, as was Timothée Chalamet, who was promoting his new film Wonka, a remake of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
The film will come out on 8 December, but the cast and other celebrities enjoyed its premiere on Tuesday.

She posted photos of herself on her Instagram story holding and wrapped in Albania’s red and black flag.
Dua was not born in Albania, but her parents are Kosovo Albanians.
The singer was granted Albanian citizenship in 2022 for promoting the country through her music and her worldwide fame.
