BLACKPINK decided to perform in the rain for BLINK, setting a new record for K-Pop girl groups

Staff at BLACKPINK’s concert at MetLife Stadium (New Jersey, USA) revealed a touching detail from the girls on the second day of performing here.

BLACKPINK has just established a new achievement, being the first female group to “sold out” tickets for 2 consecutive nights at MetLife Stadium. Previously, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were two female artists who could do this. In early July this year, TWICE also entered MetLife Stadium with a “sold out” concert.

It is predicted that when this tour is completed, BLACKPINK can easily become the K-Pop artist with the highest tour revenue in history, surpassing BTS – the name holding the throne with 246 million USD (more than 5,853 million USD) for a total of 62 shows.
